What Pop Up Church looks like when we are at a Roosevelt Park!
The Roosevelt Arts District of Phoenix is well known for the unique architecture and a strong walkability score.  Located in the heart of the Roosevelt district, Hance Park, Portland Park and "The Space Between" Park are beautiful examples of activating a temporary space while it is still waiting further development.  These parks are a temporary green oases, lined with tall trees, still placed in tree boxes. Rather than sit as a muddy, unused lots, these green areas provide a shady spot for lunch or space for play.  It's not uncommon to see people taking pictures inside of the art piece, holding a children's art class, enjoying food from a nearby venue or someone riding their bike as we are truly church in front of the community.
